The Town of Middleborough invites residents and visitors to come together in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary at a special community event. This exciting and patriotic event will feature live performances by the Massachusetts Army National Guard Band and the Hingham Militia, bringing history to life through music and reenactment. Middleborough resident Mary Standish will also present a unique historical portrayal of Deborah Sampson, one of the nation’s pioneering female soldiers. Admission is free and open to the public, making it a welcoming event for families and community members of all ages. Attendees will enjoy: Free pizza and non-alcoholic beverages (while supplies last) Live music and historical performances A festive, family-friendly atmosphere celebrating America’s founding Guests are encouraged to bring friends, family, and community spirit to this memorable day honoring the nation’s history and Middleborough’s role in it. Join us as we celebrate this historic milestone together! The event is sponsored by the Middleborough Veterans Department, with support from the Peirce Trustees and the Tourism Committee.
