The Cahoon Museum of American Art invites the community to come together for a day of creativity, discovery, and celebration! With free admission all day, it’s the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and art lovers of all ages to experience the museum in a welcoming and engaging way. Visitors can explore dynamic exhibitions such as Tiffany’s Gardens in Glass and Illuminations: The Art of Light. The celebration continues beyond the galleries with a full day of activities designed to bring art to life. Families can enjoy hands-on art activities and crafts that encourage creativity, exploration, and fun for all ages. Whether creating together or simply enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, there’s something for everyone. In the afternoon, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, visitors will have the special opportunity to meet the artists featured in Illuminations during a reception that offers insight into their work and creative process. It’s a unique chance to connect directly with artists and gain a deeper appreciation for the exhibition.
