In this travel series, we meet at a unique, specified destination, to walk and bird the trails together. To sweeten the deal, we’ll throw in some of Doug’s legendary home-baked scones. Colby Phillips Trails in Hanover is a 147 acre conservation area that is part of the town’s greenway. The trails include boardwalks through forests and wetlands, a bridge over Cushing Brook and an observation deck overlooking a freshwater marsh. This is an ideal place to find wood peewee, ovenbird and red shouldered hawk. Registration is Required.
