Destination Birding With a Scone: Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary (Wareham)

In this travel series, we meet at a unique, specified destination, to walk and bird the trails together. To sweeten the deal, we’ll throw in some of Doug’s legendary home-baked scones. Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary in Wareham is a 219 acre sanctuary with 4 miles of trails through woodlands and along Widows Cove. This property is great for a casual walk where you may encounter great blue heron, great egret, osprey, bluebird and eider. Registration is Required.
