Be part of the official opening of the newly updated All Persons Trail with a guided walk along the upgraded path. Explore the diverse habitats along North River’s universally accessible All Persons Trail as you look and listen for songbirds and other wildlife. Walk through a red maple forest, cross boardwalks, and pass through a lush fern glen. Along the way, listen for the flutelike spring song of the Wood Thrush or the tapping of woodpeckers foraging for food. New to birding? Beginners are warmly welcome. Thanks to the Athletic Brewing Company’s Two for the Trails grant, the trail features a freshly resurfaced path, a newly replaced boardwalk, upgraded interpretive signage with an enhanced post-and-rope guide, and new stop markers that include braille, raised lettering, and interactive elements. A dedicated team of Athletic Brewing volunteers also spent the day at the sanctuary helping bring this important project to life. We are deeply grateful to Athletic Brewing for their partnership and their strong commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and the outdoors. This program is Free but Registration is Required.
