@ Have you ever wandered through a cemetery and wondered about the meanings of the designs carved on old gravestones? Thousands of different religious and secular symbols and emblems have adorned tombstones through the ages, indicating attitudes towards death and the hereafter, membership in a fraternal or social organization, or an individual’s trade during their life. Join us as we explore gravestone symbols and their hidden meanings on this tour. Tour goers will meet near the Quantrill’s Raid memorial. The tour will last approximately one hour and requires walking on grass and asphalt with some uneven terrain. Please dress for the weather and bring a full water bottle.
